What is the best flash for a canon digital rebel xt 350D. I shoot sports photography.?

  1. The 420 is a pretty good flash at a reasonable price
  2. For sports? None. Use available light. You will be to far away to make the flash effective, your shutter speed sync will be to slow to "stop" the action, and the people (players, coaches, and officials) will not like flash as it would disrupt play and may blind a player for a second.
  3. Depends on how big the field is, if your far from the players your might want to consider something larger than a Canon flash. You might look at this http://www.bhphotovideo.com/bnh/controller/home?O=productlist&A=details&Q=&sku=400103&is=REG&addedTroughType=search
  4. Shooting moving objects with a flash bulb? If you're a photographer, you don't need flash bulbs with fast moving subjects. FLash bulbs only applies to still subjects in dimly lighted places, i. e., chess match
  5. I say none but generally if you have a cameral that comes equipped with one, use it along with natural lighting. One is able to find adequate lighting that is surrouding you. The best pictures come from a combination of the two, always be sure though depending on time of day to use it if the darkness of light overshadows the image. Also when placing lighting, be sure to use incondescent lighting in areas at a distance of 3ft away from the flash of the camera head. This will keep bright light from distorting the picture and from your subject having red-eye.
