- Portrait, its far more difficult to capture an idea from a human image.
- whatever you light well really, the more rare or unusual/exotic the better lighting and use of light is the key, and all the other components of great image making, exposure, depth, focus et cetera a
- Landscapes, flowers, sports, protraits, and urban scenes. That was easy....
- The subject matter depends on what you find worth shooting. Capturing the moment that you find attractive is a major part in your photographic style. With that said, the question should come down to "When is the best time to shoot landscape, flowers, portrait and urban photography?" For landscape and urban photography the best time is 30 minutes before sunrise, and 30 minutes past sunset, the landscape basks in soft colorful light which is extremely propitious to photography. The best time to photograph flowers is right after a rainstorm while the sun is still hidden behind the clouds. The lighting and the rain drops on the flowers looks just amazing. Portrait photography will require soft side lighting that could be accomplished with natural or studio lighting. Sport photography is an even that you can not wait for the correct natural lighting. Hope this helps. Cheers!
