Selling Sports Photography?

I want to sell pictures of the local little league games. I'm using photoreflect.com to host my images, but I'm only 17. Will i have problems as far a checks/money matters are concerned? Also, will the site provide me with all the information to print out and send photos to clients by myself? I'm shooting with a Canon Digital Rebel xt and I've got an Epson Stylus Pro 3800 on the way. Any suggestions or answers would be greatly appreciated.

  1. The main problem you'll have is getting sued unless you have signed Model Release forms from the parents/guardians of the players. If any of your pictures show team names and or sponsors, you'll need their releases also. Since team names, even at the Little League level, are copyrighted or registered trademarks, you're unlikely to get permission. Many, many years ago a friend and I looked into doing the pictures for the local Little League teams. The good old "group and one" type. Once we found out the amount of the "donation" required by the teams we found something else to do.
