Any photography tips for shooting Marathon?

  2. crouch down and shoot low, use a long lens to compress DOF and isolate runners... zoom out to shoot groups. Shoot the beginning, the middle and then the end of the race. Also do some candids of the spectators and the runners before and after the run. Contact the sponsors and let them know you are shooting... try to have their signage or logos in the background of the shots. This will make them sellable.
