Why Do So Many People Love Photography?
I've always asked myself this. Why do so many people love photography, even though they have no artistic quality. No offense to anyone. Just thinking about it.

- Because it is really fun and there is artistic quality.
- to be reminded of the inspiring moments of life and to share them
- Photography can be art. I think it depends on the subject. Family photos, pictures of the dog... not so much. The big draw is the preservation of one single moment. It can be quite powerful.
- Well, having no artistic quality is subjective, and in this case, a matter of your opinion. As a matter of fact, whether you think I've got any artistic skill, or not makes little difference to me in my choice to be a photographer. I do it, and love it because it makes me feel good, and is simply a way for me to express myself. No offense taken.
- I not very good at drawing with a pencil, or paintbrush, but a camera allows me to draw with light. Photography lets anyone create works of art without being an artist. I don't claim that all of my photos are art, but I have taken a few that I'm proud of. You are seriously misguided if you think that photography cannot be art, no offence meant.
- It gives us a chance to share with others things that we find interesting or beautiful.
